What Is An Empowered Life Jodie Baudek

I have been getting a lot of questions lately about what an empowered life really means.  An empowered life freaken rocks! It means you are in control of your life. It means you are in control of your decisions. You are in control of the way that you feel. You are in control of where you are going spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, physically: you are the one in control of all of those spaces.

I am not saying you are not going to have a bad day and you are not going to unravel sometimes. But, when I’m having a bad day, I give myself permission to take a small amount of time to unravel. You are human, we are absolutely human, we are going to have some bad days. But, I also know I have tools to help me get out of that space. Those tools are deep inside of me. And if I don’t have those tools, I also know it is only a click or call away. I can look it up on the internet, or I can just call somebody and get back on track.

Sometimes we let a lot of other stuff come into play. That starts to interfere with your head and you lose your power. You have to make sure you are looking at what is right, instead of what is wrong.

Empowerment is seeing what is right with your life. Then you come from a place of what can you do a little differently to push past that glass ceiling that you may have created for your self. But, first and foremost you are coming from a place where you see how great life is, you see all the potential you have within you, and you can see what your future can hold for you too.

What else does empowerment mean? It means taking care of your self so you can really fulfill your goals and achieve everything you have been dreaming of. If you teach people how to treat you by how you treat your self, that is empowerment. If you believe in yourself enough to take care of yourself, you are then in control of your life. You are deciding that you are your most valuable asset and you need to nurture and support your self so you can keep on going.

You can take yourself into a new space and help even more people. But, it has to start with you. What are you grateful for? Whatever you are grateful for will come back to you tenfold.

Are you wearing a certain hat and forgetting that you are not that role? You play the role of a mother, you play the role of a teacher, but that is a role. Don’t forget to take that hat off and nurture the one wearing the hat. Give your self permission to meditate. Give your self permission to allow your self to grow. Knowledge gives you the strength to be able to teach others. Look back at your life at how many people you have been able to teach along the way. Look at all that you have been able to accomplish already.

Allow your self to be empowered, allow your self to grow. Act like a success, and that doesn’t mean fake it from the space of ego. Know it inside you, feel it inside of you that you are successful because you are choosing to be the one in control of your choices, and you are the one in control of your life. Living an empowered life means never forgetting how much you can change your own life and help to change the lives of others too. Don’t let discouragement stop you from being that greatest version of your self that you can imagine. Remember the mantra for this year is ‘love, laugh, give and dream big.’ When you let negative thinking slip in it slows down all your progress and wastes your time. There is a reason for everything, you can learn from every single experience in your life, and you can also help to inspire others to move forward and achieve their goals too.

You are worth it!
